The Lakeside Compound

The project is located at the southern end of Hod HaSharon, near a artificial lake and examines the city’s reference to its southern border. The planning continues the municipal grid and draws it toward the lake. Construction along the lake is characterized by a continuous twisted line that creates a sequence of open plazas overlooking the lake. Furthermore, breaks in the construction along the waterfront were planned, in a way that allows passages and an open look towards the lake. The design maintains a low silhouette near the lake, and increases as high as it extends.
